What does having a tattoo have anything to do with being pregnant? Your source is wrong

Er… no. Some say it affects the ability to give an epidural, but I think that’s just an urban myth. I don’t see any other reason for a tattoo to have any affect on childbirth – why would it? It’s only ink under the skin.

Yes they are safe. If you have doubts as to the legitamcy of that-why ask here? Go to the source and ask a tattoo artist or a obgyn.

Doctors can’t give you an epidural if you have a lower back tattoo in a certain spot. That doesn’t mean you can’t have a baby. It will just hurt more when you’re having it.

Create a video blog…instantly.

Tattoos done by a good artist should be safe meaning he/she wears sterilized disposable gloves and sterilised needles.

Lower back tattoos tend to hurt a little more due to the nerve endings along the spinal region.

No i dont think so.
My friends mum has one there and she has given birth to like…..4 kids.
So should be safe.
The only worrying thing is the streachmarks but i dont think they go all the way round to your back.

That is wrong. All tats are safe if you choose a reputable and clean artist AND follow aftercare instructions. Tramp stamps have nothing to do with childbirth.

You should be fine, just research the place you are getting it. Make sure to check they have an autoclave machine (sterilizes the equipment). And if you are getting a lower back tattoo try not to refer to it as a tramp stamp.

the needle and ink only penetrate the first few layers of the skin so should be no problem…… but please dont get a lower back tattoo.
