I don’t care for them but if people wish to put them on their bodies then that is their right. I’ve known many people who have tried to get rid of the ones they have. I could never have an image soldiered into my flesh- I have a low threshold for pain.

I love tattoos. I have two large ones myself. I have two winged dragons on my arm/shoulder and a large dragon that covers most of my back. I want many more.

I like them in moderation. If you get one, chose a place where you can conceal it if you so desire. One day, you may choose a profession that looks down on them and you need to be able to cover it to present yourself as a professional.

OK, first off, tattoos do NOT give you skin cancer.

With that out of the way, I love tattoos and the art of tattooing. I love seeing people express themselves. I have several tattoos (including one on my wrist and my ankle). I get compliments all the time on my ink and my looks and I would be a lady with or without tattoos. :)

I love tattoos, I think they look awesome. Size or place does not matter, they all look really good to me as long as the design is great.

I have a tattoo of some video game characters I like on my ankle and I love them. If I was to get another one would probably be an animal in the back of my neck. Be careful about the wrist if you are not 100% you will like a tattoo as wrist tattoo are harder to cover and may make it harder to find a job. All of the other place you are thinking of are perfectly find though.

I’m a huge tattoo and piercing fan. Unfortunatly, cash is tight, so I don’t have many of my own, but so far I have 4 lobe piercings, a tongue rim piercing, a navel piercing, a tattoo of a dragon on my left shoulder blade

My future mods include a Christina piercing, a 10 step corset piercing, a tattoo of my horse’s name for my lower back and a tat of the Egyptian god, Anubis on the top front of my right thigh.

I find tattoos extremely **** and they are so individual. Personally, if it were to come down to looks alone, I’d date the guy with tats and piercings before the guy with no work done.

I do think that not every tat placement suits everyone. For example, I won’t tattoo my arms because I don’t have the musculature to show them off. Same goes for piercings. I prfer the navel bar for women, whereas I find the eyebrow bar a bit more masculine.

I absoloutly encourage everyone to get at least one tattoo.

I LOVE TATTOOS! I plan to get one next year. Just make sure if and when you do. Resarch the place, visit the place, talk to people who have been there. Just know about the place you’re going to and the people there before you go, because you do need to be careful. But I’d say go for it, I definately am. Mine are going on my shoulder (a small memorial for my dad who passed 9 years ago), my hip (a black panther), my ankle (a black rose), and my neck (the nickname my dad gave me). I’d say get something meaningful, something you won’t regret in a few years, and something that you can cover up when on a job interview or wherever. I hope that helped. Good luck!

In my opinion, i feel tattoos are a creative way to express yourself. Your skin becomes a canvas for the artist. You become a walking gallery.

But, if you have never gotten a tattoo before, you should think long and hard about what you want. Remember it is for life. Your skin will change. So if your still young, choose a place that will not sag or stretch for a while. If you plan on having kids, try to avoid places where pregnancy can turn your cute dolphin into a hideous elephant.

Also, research the tattoo parlor. Shop around. Not for prices but for quality of the artist. All artists have a weak spot and a strength. Ask to see their portfolio.

My first tattoos i got when i was 17. My mother brought me. I was excited and stupid and just picked something i wanted off the top of my head. I got one on the back of my neck and the other above my left ‘chest’. I recently got my neck one covered up with something that was thought out and means something to me. And I am working on getting the second one covered up as well. i am just glad i didn’t get large ones for my first time or in an area that would have been effected from my pregnancy.

And tattoos ARE painful. Just some people respond to the pain better then others. Most artists will not want to stop with an unfinished piece, others might. So i would start off small to see if you can handle the pain.

Tattoos are a great way to remember people, places and events in ones life.

I think you will, and already have, gotten two very different sets of responses from two very different sets of people.
People either love ‘em or **** ‘em!
The thing is, generations are becoming more and more tattooed as time goes on. I myself have a few, which I love, and plan on getting more. My Mother absolutely hates them, and wishes I still had the “skin and body of a woman” meaning untouched and unaltered. In my opinion, colorful designs pictures and scrolls, are just as beautiful (if not more) than soft flesh, and plain skin. I understand her argument, but just love the art form too much to agree.
Tattoos tell stories, and start conversations. There is no more beautiful form of art, than the art someone chooses to be on them forever and represent them in this permanent form of beauty.
Know what you want, do your research, and fall in love with every tattoo you choose to get. Even someone who doesn’t agree with tattooing, can appreciate someone loving their body, and feeling proud of what you do with it!
Happy Tattooing :)

I love tattoos!! I was soo nervous when getting my first one, which is quite big on my lower back and although it hurt like being poked with a hot iron I have become soo addicted and I’m planning where I want my next one lol!! tattoos are great, but there’s still loads of people (usually older people) that frown upon them…they need to get with the times lol

I’ve been fascinated with tattoos since a rather you age. i would’ve loved to be a tattooist, but i lack the artistic talent. so I’ll have to settle for getting some. i have 3, 2 sets of music notes on my back (left shoulder and right mid), and paw prints going up my right foot. I’m getting a few more also.
when done well, they’re beautiful works of art. sure there are some stupid designs, and poorly done ones out there, but overall i love tattoos.

i don’t really understand the appeal of tattoos, but i guess since most women pierce their ears (a nearly permanent yet impractical thing), tattoos aren’t that much different.
if i did ever get one, it would be on my ankle, and of something completely unoriginal.

I love tattoos. I have 3 right now and plan on getting more soon.
My first tat was a tribal arm band, second was a flaming ying-yang and my last tat is a tribal dagger with a pot leaf behind it. And I don’t have to cover them at work. Some places you will, but working at a T.V. station I don’t have to.

My next tat will be a celtic cross with my grandparents names on it, in remembrance of them.

I love tattoos, I think they’re an awesome way of expressing yourself and art. I have 7 so far of my own. One on my foot, ankle, behind my ear, either side of my chest, and my forearm. I’m also planning on getting a lot more.

I like tattoos a lot. I´m going to get either a tribal on my right shoulder and the area around it. Or a backpiece, I´m considering between those.

I love tattoos. I have a few of my own but I think they are a personal thing and not everybody likes them, that’s their choice.
I think they can be very **** on the right man or woman in the right place.
