My buddy from Saudi Arabia sent me a small tube of incredible henna. I used some last evening, but it was on the bottom of my foot.
My mother will not allow me use henna, simply because at a carnival, my older brother acquired a black henna tattoo laced with some thing he was allergic to.
I really want to place on the stunning kinds on my fingers and occasionally my arm : ) She doesn't believe that henna is short-term, and went crazy when she saw my last one. what do I do?

inform her you have attempted it and you are not allergic to it. then make clear about the pigment and that its all natural ingridients..im a henna artist..ive done henna on myself and other individuals so i comprehend.

You should look up the facts on henna for her online and show and explain it to her
go to several different sites to prove that its totally temporary
then try and find a place that does them regularly and have her go with you and talk to the people there
and you could demonstrate how it comes off with the tube you already have
but mainly just TALK to her about it, explain your side, and the facts about henna
like most people are afraid of things that they dont know anything about, ya know?
give some good reasons why you want a henna
* theyre cute * its not permanent *unique * it wont get in the way of your study habits…lol
Ask her to help you do a controlled test. If you have no allergies, she should be willing to help you put it someplace no one will ever see or notice, and then you can show her that it is temporary.
Or SHOW her your friend’s hand with the tattoo, and with it gone in the couple of days…
Was your brother’s permanent? Or did he just go out and get a real tattoo, (not henna) and had a reaction to some toxin that wasn’t well controlled?
I just got one on sunday, and mine is already starting to fade. I did it at an amusement park, and nothing happened to me.
If your mother is conservative, it is going to be hard to find a way to make her do it though.
Print out some fact sheets from reliable sources that explain what henna (real henna, not the black stuff) is, how it works, and what it does. Ask her if she’d like to sit with you while you do it, so she can see what it’s like. Show her pictures of other people who have them, especially if you can find some that are starting to fade. Be prepared, and mature. She’ll come around.
