Can a Black Henna Tattoo Truly Be Existence Threatening?

Considering obtaining a black henna tattoo? Don't, they can be extremely dangerous.

A black henna tattoo is not the same as a pure henna one. Pure henna is 100% natural and secure. Dry leaves of the henna plant are ground up into a powder, the powder is mixed with a liquid to make a paste, the paste is applied to the skin as a pattern or style. The paste dries on the skin for many hrs and then flakes off or is removed leaving a reddish brown stain. The stain might final a week up to a couple months depending on the application and how it is taken care of.

However, black henna is extremely different. It's henna mixed with a chemical known as p-phenylenediamine (PPD). PPD is used to make the stain appear much more like a permanent tattoo and have a darkish black color. The chemical also tends to make the stain dry considerably faster.

PPD can trigger an allergic response ranging from itchy skin, blistering, permanent scarring, and sometimes demise. Becoming uncovered to PPD as soon as can make you sensitized to it, and it will only take a little amount later to trigger a strong allergic response.
