Are any of your tattoos or body mods religious?

not yet but when I get older I’m gonna get a cross decorated in roses or somethin and my dad and step dad both have crosses on their arms!

I use to go to a christian school and they actually said that it was wrong to get a tattoo cause God says not to draw on your body. I don’t know if that’s true, but I don’t know how tattoos would connect with religion.

I don’t really think that any of my piercings are religious.
But I do know that some places believe that every time you get a piercing, you are getting rid of a demon in your body. That could also mean that you are removing some of your sins.
Some cultures believe that getting your tongue pierced lets you talk to god. Some believe that getting your ear pierced in a certain place can make you lucky. Some cultures make boys get a piercing in their ******* before they can become a man.

yes. i have god give me strength on my wrist. i got it because i’ve had a difficult past and i wouldn’t of been able to do it without god. also i know life isn’t going to get easier so i like the idea of having it with me at all times. i’m sure you can find somewhere in the bible where it says you shouldn’t change your body because, god made you how you are, but i’m not someone who follows things by the book, if it makes me closer to good, so be it.
i have a friend who has a tattoo of the cross from her uncles rosary. he passed a few years ago and she wants to keep him close and uses it to remind her that God has a plan for everyone. hope i helped. you can email if you have any questions. good luck!

in the jewish religion, tattoos are a no-no, as is writing the name of god, ergo my tattoo of a hebrew name for god. i love it and think it’s very special. i think that she’s evolved enough to approve.

There is nothing in the Christian religion that says tattoos are wrong. The only thing that it says is to keep your human body a sacred temple. I have a cross on my shoulder blade & another cross on my neck.

No, I am not religious so a religious tattoo would hold no significance for me.
